In today’s edition of the rumor roundup, we cover the latest rumors among fans, including whispers about Jordynne Grace’s debut, The Bloodline saga, Goldberg’s return, the title match at Royal Rumble, and more.

Jordynne Grace’s WWE debut

Former three-time TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace bid farewell to the Nashville-based promotion after her last match at TNA Genesis last week. Shortly, after she was removed from the TNA roster page and reports suggested that she was inbound for WWE.

Grace was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando on Tuesday, while reports from PWInsider suggest that she is not expected at the Performance Centre for the rest of this week. The report further indicates “belief in WWE creative circles is she will be competing in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.”

Update on WWE plans for the Bloodline

Following the humiliating loss at the hands of Roman Reigns in the debut episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix, things have only been going downhill for Solo Sikoa. On the last week’s show of SmackDown, Sikoa left without uttering a word.

According to the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon, Solo Sikoa and the Bloodline will lose their name following the loss in the debut episode.

“In a significant storyline update, we can confirm the plan as of now, for the grouping of Solo Sikoa, Tanga Loa, and Tama Tonga is to no longer be referred to as The Bloodline. It seems as though WWE is moving away from the heels using that name as Roman’s name is now back to being Tribal Chief.”

Alexa Bliss’ WWE contract

Alexa Bliss has been away from WWE and was last seen at Royal Rumble 2023, after which she was on maternity leave. Since then the fandom has been waiting for her return and earlier reports suggested that she would be making her return on the Red brand.

According to a new report from PWInsider, the plans for Bliss’ return on the 01/13 episode of Raw were scrapped due to a contract dispute. The reports suggest that the Stamford-based promotion wanted Alexa to return under her old WWE contract while her team wanted to negotiate a new deal “with enhanced perks.”

Plans for her return on the January 13 episode of Monday Night Raw were ultimately abandoned due to a stalemate in negotiations.

Goldberg’s return

Earlier reports suggested that WWE & WCW legend Goldberg was slated to make his return on the 01/27 episode of Monday Night Raw which will emanate from his hometown in Atlanta, Georgia.

However, according to a new report from Chris Featherstone the legend is not scheduled for an appearance on the next week’s episode. He also added that Goldberg is not currently in any creative plans for the show.

“I’ve been informed that Bill Goldberg is not scheduled to appear on #WWERaw this coming Monday and is not in any creative plans for the show.” Featherstone tweeted.

Nikki Bella return

WWE legend Nikki Bella has been absent from in-ring action since 2022, her appearance during the historic debut episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix sparked speculations of her in-ring return.

Recent reports from WrestleVotes Radio confirm the speculations as the reports suggest that significant discussions have transpired between Bella and the Stamford-based promotion regarding her in-ring return. Those discussions are said to have been successful.

“We’re told significant discussions have taken place regarding a Nikki Bella return to action, with the strong expectation from multiple WWE sources that it will happen sooner rather than later.”

A further report from TMZ also confirms the earlier report and adds that Bella is already in training in case an agreement is reached.

Ric Flair

According to PWInsider, WWE legend Ric Flair was at the WWE Performance Center recently to film an appearance for the upcoming WWE LFG series.

Second title match at Royal Rumble

According to WrestleVotes on a Backstage Pass podcast, there are “some rumblings that a secondary women’s title match may be added,” which “maybe a Chelsea Green defense of some sort”. They also stressed that they not have heard anything “concrete”

Chelsea Green defeated Michin on the December 14 episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event to become the inaugural Women’s United States Champion.
