During this week’s Raw, Rey Mysterio appeared to suffer a knee injury during his singles match against Austin Theory. According to intial report by Cory Hays, Mysterio was legitimately injured and was escorted to the back by medical personnel. Fan footage from the arena supported the report, showing the referee’s signal and medical attention being administered immediately.

However, according to Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, Mysterio’s injury is believed to be “not serious.” There’s optimism internally, but the specifics of the injury have not been officially confirmed.

According to Billbil-kun of Dealabs Magazine, the highly awaited WWE 2K26 will be released on Friday, March 13.

2K Games and WWE have slowly started to reveal more information about the game, and recently, they revealed the WWE 2K26 King of Kings Edition. This edition is based on Triple H, with him as a cover superstar as well. The pre-orders for this edition will start on Friday, January 30, 2026.

The Wrestling Observer reports that Dwayne’ The Rock’ has “had no involvement whatsoever with current WWE creative.”

Amid recent rumors about his involvement in the storyline against Bron Breakker, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Adam Pearce has no current plans to compete in the ring.

PWInsider reports that Marty Miller, who normally oversees major WWE productions like Raw and WrestleMania, will be absent from this year’s Royal Rumble due to prior commitments with Zuffa Boxing. SmackDown’s director, Lee Lipschulz, is expected to step in and handle the show in his place.

Founded by UFC CEO Dana White and General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki Al-Sheikh, Zuffa Boxing operates as a joint venture between Sela and TKO Group Holdings (TKO) and is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The outlet also reports that the production for the Royal Rumble PLE this year is expected to be at the level of WrestleMania. The 39th edition will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of Riyadh Season.
