Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer notes that CM Punk has been replaced by Seth Rollins in the promotional video for “Riyadh season Night of Champions,” sparking further speculation about Punk’s status for WWE’s upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia.

The Second City Saint was featured in the Night of Champions promo, which aired during Backlash 2025; his appearance in the video made many fans believe that Punk would, for the first time, compete at a PLE held in Saudi Arabia.

Punk was asked if he hates going to Saudi Arabia during a recent Instagram live, replying to the fan question, he said, “I’ve never been to Saudi, I don’t hate coming to Saudi.”

Charlotte Flair’s next opponent

According to WrestleVotes, one of the top matches being pitched for Evolution 2 is the showdown between Charlotte Flair and Jade Cargill. The promotion had already hinted at the clash in last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Hulk Hogan’s team informed TMZ that he underwent neck surgery this week. The Hall of Famer had a “minor fusion procedure” on Wednesday and was already back to work by Thursday.

According to WrestleVotes, the Stamford-based promotion is planning several live events in Mexico soon, all revolving around a major “SuperShoIw Mexico” event.

Lilian Garcia returns

WWE’s iconic announcer, Lilian Garcia, stepped down from her full-time announcing role on SmackDown in March. She clarified that she will remain with the company, working at special events and collaborating on new show ideas with the promotion.

Garcia recently took to her Instagram to announce that she will be making her return at the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event as an announcer. The May 24 edition of SNME will air live from Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
