WWE Rumor Roundup: Undertaker’s new contract, Jimmy Uso’s injury, Jacob Fatu’s debut & more

The rumors that are blasting the internet this week are mainly around Jimmy Uso’s WWE Status, Undertaker’s new contract, Jacob Fatu’s debut, WWE Draft and so on. Here is a complete roundup on the latest rumors around the pro-wrestling industry.
Jimmy Uso’s WWE Status
According to Fightful Select, Jimmy Uso is suffering from an undisclosed injury and was taken out from the Draft pools. However there isn’t any update on how long Jimmy will be benched and where he is exactly injured. Jimmy Uso last appeared on television at the SmackDown after WrestleMania 40, where he was attacked by Solo Sikoa and debuting Tama Tonga.
The Undertaker’s Contract
PWInsider reported that The Undertaker has signed a new legends contract with the company sometime around WrestleMania 40. However there isn’t any information on the contract being signed.
Jacob Fatu’s WWE Debut
It was previously reported that Jacob Fatu will be making his WWE debut as soon as this week’s Friday Night SmackDown. However the latest report from PWInsider Elite says that Fatu won’t be showing up this week. He has signed the contract with the company and his plans are being placed, but since the Bloodline creative is laid out “meticulously”, his return needs no rush.
Cameron Grimes release
According to Fightful Select, Cameron Grimes’ WWE release was “unexpected by many in the company”. That was because of the skills and experience level he has, how he came had his time in NXT run and brought the same in the SmackDown. However his talent was not utilized on TV.
Baron Corbin in Draft
Corey Brennan on Fightful Select reported that the company is in a plan to move Baron Corbin back to the main roster through the WWE Draft 2024. Corbin was a free agent in last year’s WWE Draft, but he made his most appearances in the NXT brand and even managed to win the NXT Tag Team Championship with Bron Breakker.
Randy Orton’s remix theme rejected
Corey Brennan of Fightful reported that Def Rebel, who has been producing WWE’s music since 2019, did a remix of Randy Orton’s theme for his return at Survivor Series 2023. However, Orton declined the new theme down within minutes after hearing it. Orton in the previous interviews spoke about changing his theme and the situations.
