Update on Lana

Miro, known among WWE fans as Rusev, recently made his highly anticipated return on the Raw after Mania show on April 21. This further fueled speculations of the return of her wife and former WWE star Lana (CJ Perry), who left AEW with him.

According to a recent report from Fightful Select, Lana has signed a WWE Legends contract. However, there is still no update on her return.

Stone Cold’s crash

Stone Cold made an appearance on Night Two (April 20) of WrestleMania 41 PLE, where he made his appearance on an ATV bike. However, during his entrance, he crashed into the barricade, and a fan footage has revealed that he almost missed the entrance ramp and was helped by the production crew.

While discussing Stone Cold’s ATV mishap at WrestleMania on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez mentioned that he’s heard the Stamford-based promotion is “nervous” about the possibility of a lawsuit from the fan who was shaken up when Stone Cold crashed into the barricade.

Bayley’s absence

Bayley was set to battle Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles alongside Lyra Valkyria as they became the number one contenders after winning the women’s gauntlet match. However, she was pulled from the match due to injury and replaced by Becky Lynch.

Addressing the situation during the WrestleMania Sunday Post-Show, Triple H was questioned about Bayley being removed from the card despite not being injured. WWE’s Chief Content Officer reassured fans, saying, “Don’t worry, guys, Bayley will be just fine,” and referred to her as “a true pro.”

Joe Hendry’s appearance & Roast of WrestleMania

According to Fightful Select, WWE had already been planning for Joe Hendry to appear at WrestleMania 41 even before Kevin Owens’ injury became public. Hendry accepted Randy Orton’s open challenge on April 20 and battled the Viper on Night Two of the PLE.

At Sunday night’s WrestleMania Roast hosted by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, attendees reported appearances by R-Truth, The Miz, Braun Strowman, Nia Jax, Sami Zayn, and Pat McAfee, with Triple H making a surprise entrance to close the show, and Linda McMahon also in attendance.

Both WrestleVotes and WrestlingNews.co noted on social media that, as expected, Paul Heyman stole the spotlight. Due to the roast’s explicit content, it’s considered highly unlikely the event will ever be aired or streamed.
