The May 24th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event will emanate from Tampa!
The first event following WWE Backlash 2025 is the May 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, which will emanate live from the Yeungling Center in Tampa, Florida. This will be the second edition of SNME in 2025 and the third one overall since its return.
WWE brought the second edition of the vintage show, WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, on January 25, 2025, at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. This came after the success of the first edition back in December 2024, when the popular NBC show was revived after years.
The promotion has announced multiple matches where top superstars, including John Cena, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Jey Uso, among others, will compete. Women’s United States title along with a steel cage match, a tag team match and a non-title match between John Cena and R-Truth is announced for the show.
Since capturing the World Heavyweight title, Jey Uso has been a constant target of multiple challengers. However, none have targeted him quite as often as Logan Paul, the Maverick, has knocked out the Champion four times in the lead-up and has vowed to do the same come Saturday. This will be Jey’s second title defense since capturing the title at WrestleMania 41 against Gunther.
