A great match to kick off the mega event
The WWE match between Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn kicked off with an electric atmosphere as Zayn wasted no time, charging at McIntyre with a flurry of punches.
McIntyre shrugged him off, casually removing his leather kilt before retaliating with a powerful chop that sent Zayn staggering. The crowd erupted into a spirited “Sami Uso” chant, setting the tone for the exciting encounter ahead.
Drew McIntyre backed Sami Zayn into the corner with some vicious chops, but Zayn countered with his fiery offense, landing rapid punches in the corner. He followed it up with a clothesline that sent McIntyre over the top rope. Zayn didn’t stop there, diving to the outside with a slingshot moonsault block that left McIntyre reeling.
Back inside the ring, McIntyre regained control with his trademark chops and a thunderous overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Zayn, however, refused to back down. When McIntyre charged at him, Zayn landed a quick kick and followed up with an elbow and a diving ax handle. Just as Zayn seemed to be building momentum, McIntyre overpowered him with a spinebuster and a sitout powerbomb, nearly securing the victory.

The match reached another gear when McIntyre attempted a Super White Noise from the second rope, but Zayn countered with a sunset flip powerbomb that brought the crowd to their feet. Zayn tried to seal the deal with a Blue Thunder Bomb, but McIntyre resisted. After a heated exchange, McIntyre connected with his signature Glasgow Kiss headbutt, stunning Zayn.
The two continued trading blows, each coming close to victory. Zayn fired back with a stunning Blue Thunder Driver, nearly pulling off the upset, but McIntyre wasn’t finished yet. When Zayn went for another big move, McIntyre struck with a perfectly timed Claymore Kick, putting Zayn down for the three-count. Drew McIntyre emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle.
