WWE is one of the largest professional wrestling companies, who has been dominating the industry for decades. The Stamford based company has broken a number of records and brought a separate identity to their promotion. The company in 2024 broke a number of records in ticket sales and proved that the industry is cool again.

We have seen a number of sold-out shows before WrestleMania 40 during the build for the feuds and involvement of some of the bigger stars.

This resulted in a successful WrestleMania 40, where WWE marked a total of 145,298 live attendance for the show with Night 1 having 72,543 and Night 2 with 72,755 live audience. It seems like the hype is carried out post-WrestleMania on the fallout episodes, as WWE has sold out yet another WWE weekly television show.

Over 13,000 tickets distributed for SmackDown after WrestleMania 40

The April 12, 2024 episode of SmackDown is all set to be held at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, United States. This is the SmackDown after WrestleMania 40 and it is expected to be filled with a number of surprise debuts and new storylines. WWE has claimed this to be the new era and it is the first SmackDown in the new Paul “Triple H” Levesque Era.

As the show is being hyped and creates anticipation, WrestleTix has officially announced that the show in Little Caesars Arena is sold out. They reported that over 13,000 tickets were sold out for this week’s SmackDown. This is the eighteenth consecutive television sold out show for WWE.

The Raw after WrestleMania 40, which happened earlier this week was also a sold out show with more than 20,000 live audience at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

It was previously stated that the company is looking to shrink the ring area to occupy more audiences in the arena, in the upcoming shows. It seems like the sold-out events are continuing post WrestleMania 40 and there are a number of sold-out shows upcoming.

This week on SmackDown, the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Cody Rhodes is expected to make his return. A number of WWE stars including Randy Orton, LA Knight, Bianca Belair, Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa and Jade Cargill are advertised for the show.
