The April 19, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be aired live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. WWE Women’s Championship- Bayley (C) vs Naomi

Bayley will be defending her WWE Women’s Championship for the first time against Bayley after her win at WrestleMania 40. The match was made after last week’s match between Tiffany Stratton & Naomi, where Naomi won and became the rightful contender. As per speculations, Bayley will retain her title by defeating Naomi.

Undisputed WWE Championship #1 Contender’s Match- LA Knight vs AJ Styles

LA Knight & AJ Styles will face each other once again this week on SmackDown, however this time for the title shot. The winner of this match will be facing Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE Backlash 2024 in France. As per speculations, AJ Styles will win the match to end his feud with LA Knight and will punch his ticket to France.

Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Match

Legado Del Fantasma (Angel Garza & Humberto Carillo), Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford), Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) and New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate) will be facing each other in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s match. The winner will be having a tag team championship title shot against Austin Theory & Grayson Waller. As per speculations, New Catch Republic will win the match and will qualify for the title shot.

New WWE Tag Team Championship unveil

Earlier this week on Raw, WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H introduced the World Tag Team Championship as a replacement for the Raw Tag Team Championship. As per rumors and speculations, Triple H will introduce WWE Tag Team Championship replacing SmackDown tag team titles.

WWE SmackDown Telecast Details

Friday Night SmackDown will be telecasted on Saturday Morning at 5.30 AM on Sony Sports 1 and Sony Sports 1 HD. WWE premium users can stream the show on the WWE Network. For those who wish to watch it without premium subscription, online platforms such as Sony Liv, Jio TV,  and Airtel TV provide space to watch the action for free.
