The 12/27 episode of WWE SmackDown is the final episode of 2024
The year 2024 is coming to an end and the Stamford-based promotion is closing the year with two live shows of the Red & Blue brand. The 12/27 Friday Night SmackDown episode will be the Blue brand’s final episode for 2024.
The 12/27 episode will be telecasted live from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, U.S.A. Multiple top stars are advertised for the show including Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, LA Knight, Tiffany Stratton, and more.

Cody Rhodes set to return
The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, made a surprise announcement during the WWE Holiday Tour stop in Jacksonville on December 26, confirming his upcoming appearance on SmackDown in Tampa.
Rhodes was absent following his successful title defense at Saturday Night’s Main Event where he was attacked by the challenger Kevin Owens after the match. Owens landed a package piledriver which caused injury to the champion and forced him out of action.
Dark matches for 12/27 SmackDown
- Jey Uso vs Chad Gable
- Bianca Belair, Kairi Sane, & Dakota Kai vs Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, & Sonya Deville)
Jey Uso vs Chad Gable
‘Main Event’ Jey Uso will lock horns with the leader of the American Made, Chad Gable in the dark match of tonight’s episode. The two stars primarily perform under the Red brand of the promotion.
However, recent reports suggest that Gable, along with his faction consisting of the Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile, is expected to move to the Blue brand in the New Year.
Bianca Belair, Kairi Sane, & Dakota Kai vs Pure Fusion Collective
The team of Bianca Belair, Kairi Sane, & Dakota Kai will battle the team of Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, & Sonya Deville (Pure Fusion Collective) in a six-woman tag match.
The clash between the two teams is the second dark match advertised for the show at Amalie Arena in Tampa.

- In the United States, Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico the show can be watched live at 8 PM ET, 7 PM CT & 4 PM ET every Friday on the USA Network.
- In Canada, the show will be aired live every Friday Live at 8 PM ET on Sportsnet 360.
- In the United Kingdom & Ireland, the show will be live at 1 AM every Saturday on TNT Sports.
- In India, the show will be live at 6:30 AM IST every Saturday across Sony Sports Network (Sony Liv, Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 1 HD, Sony Ten 3, Sony Ten 4, Sony Ten 4 HD).
- In Saudi Arabia, the show will be live at 4 AM every Saturday on Shahid.
- In Australia, the show will be live at 12 PM AEDT every Saturday on Fox8.
- In France, the show will be live at 2 AM CET every Saturday on the WWE Network.
