The OTC picked up the mic, but before he was about to address the crowd in Buffalo, Jey Uso’s music hit. Jey walked into the ring and said that there was a lot of misunderstanding going on and pleaded with The OTC to hear Sami Zayn out and listen to what he wanted to say.
Sami Zayn appeared in the arena to address The OTC at Friday Night SmackDown. ‘Sami Uso’ chants filled the arena as Zayn picked up the mic to address the mishap.
Sami stated that the kick hadn’t been on purpose and reiterated that the only reason he had shown up at Crown Jewel was because of Jey. However, he was in the ring that night not because of Jey, but because, at Crown Jewel, when it was just the four of them, ‘it was special.’
Zayn stated that it had felt like family, and there was a part of him on some level that believed the four of them wanted all ‘this’ back. Sami believed that Reigns loved him, but Reigns looked confused as Zayn reminisced on the old days when they used to party and enjoy each other’s company.
Zayn offered that if The OTC wanted him to leave, he would turn around, leave, and never join the OG Bloodline. Further, Zayn stated that he thought Reigns wanted the four of them to join forces again, like in the old days.
The Honorary Uce said that he only wanted one thing from The OTC: an apology. The OTC was puzzled and asked Zayn if he wanted him to apologize to him. But Zayn clarified that he didn’t want Reigns to apologize to him, he wanted Reigns to apologize to Jey.
Reigns walked up to Jey and said, ‘I’m sorry,’ but then added that he was sorry Jey was wasting his time with this and that Zayn was not family, not an Honorary Uce. Reigns then called out Solo Sikoa to the arena as Zayn walked out.
Jacob Fatu’s video played, and he stated that it had been a long time since Reigns had been the Tribal Chief. He further stated that Solo was his Tribal Chief, and that made Reigns just like everybody else—there was the Tribal Chief and everybody else, and Reigns had to wait in line.
Moreover, he stated that Solo didn’t move when Reigns asked him to, as Solo was the Tribal Chief, and he would come when he wanted to. At the end of the day, Reigns would have to acknowledge him.
