WWE to give their fans a double treat on this week’s SmackDown!
WWE is all set to host the July 19, 2024 episode of SmackDown from the CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The company has booked some exciting matches for the show to set the foundation for the upcoming SummerSlam event.
It is reported that WWE is not only planning to give what the fans came for but also will be giving more than that in Omaha, as a double treat.
WWE to double tape WWE SmackDown for upcoming week
According to PWInsider’s latest report, WWE will be pre-taping the July 26, 2024 episode of SmackDown immediately following the July 19th edition of SmackDown in Omaha, Nebraska as a double taping. This is due to the reason that the company is scheduled to tour Japan for three days starting from July 25th.
It is reported that, due to the 16-hour time difference between the two countries, the plan to pre-tape the episode is made. This seemingly suggests that the fans who will be live at the CHI Health Center Omaha will have more exclusive content than expected.
This week’s SmackDown has some big stakes as Logan will be making his return to the blue brand to address LA Knight’s challenge, Andrade will be facing Carmelo Hayes and Cody Rhodes will be live to address Bloodline’s attack on him & Randy Orton last week.
In the same way, the July 26th tapings of SmackDown are also expected to be big, with a confirmed match card for WWE SummerSlam 2024.
WWE tour to Japan
WWE will be having the live event on July 25th at the Edion Arena in Osaka, Japan. Following that they will have a two-day event on July 26 & July 27th at the Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan. This marks the first WWE tour to Japan since 2019, which was before the COVID-19 pandemic.
WWE has already announced that some Japanese superstars including IYO SKY, Kairi Sane, Meiko Satomura and others will be in action for the show.
This week’s SmackDown is almost sold out and is expected to be filled with a lot of excitement. Are you excited for this week’s show? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
