The 9/13 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be the first episode to air on USA Network

Beginning September 13, 2024, USA Network will be the sole home for all things WWE for the rest of the year. WWE SmackDown returns to USA Network for the first time since 2019, reuniting with Monday Night Raw.

From now until the end of 2024, USA Network will be the only place to watch WWE’s best programs, offering fans access to all of the exciting in-ring action and their favorite WWE Superstars.

The move to USA Network means that key talents such as Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, The Bloodline, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Liv Morgan will only be available on this channel.

For WWE fans, this decision brings Raw and SmackDown under one roof, making USA Network the go-to destination for all WWE content and ensuring that no other network will air both events during this time.

To start off this historic shift, Cody Rhodes, the Undisputed WWE Champion, will defend his championship inside a Steel Cage on the season premiere of SmackDown on USA Network on September 13.

This highly anticipated event, announced on WWE’s final SmackDown on FOX, will pave the way for a new era of WWE programming on the USA Network. WWE’s significant move will bring fans explosive action, great drama, and unforgettable moments.

Where will the 9/13 WWE SmackDown be held?

WWE SmackDown is the flagship television program for the world’s largest professional wrestling company, WWE. Following a five-year-long deal, the blue brand returns to the USA Network.

The SmackDown premiere on USA Network will take place on September 13, 2024, at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, United States. To make the comeback spectacular, WWE has scheduled several pay-per-view-worthy matches and features for the event.
