Royal Rumble 2025 could be one of the best PLE’s in the company’s history
The No. 30 place in the 2025 WWE Men’s Royal Rumble match will be very valuable. Fans have seen numerous stars emerge as the last entrant throughout the years, leaving their imprint on the tournament or even winning it.
This year, numerous prominent stars have already confirmed their participation in the Men’s Royal Rumble contest. Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and John Cena are among the top names preparing to face 29 other superstars in the hopes of reaching WrestleMania.
However, WWE might save the opportunity to surprise fans by bringing back a big name or a destructive superstar to conclude the battle. Cody Rhodes was chosen for the 2023 Rumble, followed by Sami Zayn in 2024.
Below are the five WWE superstars who may be the last entrants in this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble battle.
5. CM Punk
Paul Heyman has some excellent relationships in WWE management, and CM Punk may call on him shortly. Punk intends to win the 2025 Royal Rumble and challenge Cody Rhodes or Gunther for their world championships at The Show of Shows. After suffering an injury in the previous year’s event, The Best in the World is one of the favorites to win this year’s contest.
Heyman might ‘convince’ management on Punk’s behalf to secure the coveted No. 30 place, which could help him seal the victory. Coming out last would spare him from too many knocks and give him the opportunity to square off against some great superstars before eliminating them.
4. Jacob Fatu
Jacob Fatu has not revealed his participation in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble for now atleast. However, WWE will most likely use him in the bout to demonstrate his authority.
Fatu may take the No. 30 slot in his debut Royal Rumble match and make an impression. He had the potential to knock out several big names in the competition, like Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn, before being defeated by Roman Reigns.
The angle will allow him to continue his plot with The Bloodline while maintaining value. Coming out as the final superstar will allow him to clear the ring of stars with a little chance of winning before leaving the competition.
3. Brock Lesnar
If the Beast Incarnate returns to the Men’s Royal Rumble in 2025, it might send shockwaves. Brock Lesnar has not wrestled for WWE since SummerSlam 2023. Things may have altered since then, and Lesnar might be cleared to compete again.
WWE fans would be ecstatic if The Beast Incarnate returned and entered the men’s Royal Rumble at No. 30. He may quickly become the biggest fish in the ring and perhaps win the match to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41.
Alternatively, the ultimate Rumble victor may eliminate him last to secure a WrestleMania main event slot. In either case, Brock Lesnar’s comeback would be a huge thing for the organization, especially with RAW moving to Netflix.
2. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns is a favorite to win the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match. Paul Heyman announced the OTC’s involvement in the event, as well as his intention to challenge Cody Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed Championship.
Reigns has not fought in the Rumble match in several years. However, he is one of the finest workers in the ring and has the potential to win the battle with some impressive moments.
Even though Reigns’ placement will not surprise anyone, Triple H may have him debut at No. 30. The last place might allow Reigns to battle only the remaining top men in the ring, rather than the stars that came before him. The position might also help him win more easily.
1. The Rock
The Rock made his comeback to WWE on RAW’s Netflix launch. He anointed Roman Reigns as The Only Tribal Chief, but did not criticize his predicted WrestleMania opponent.
Instead, The Final Boss appeared on the NXT broadcast after RAW, dropping a few hints while addressing fans. It’s unclear whether The Rock has retired from wrestling yet.
WWE fans may see The Rock return to the ring in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble. The No. 30 place would be ideal for him since it would provide a significant boost while also protecting him from taking too many bumps.
The Final Boss might win the fight from No. 30 and face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41. Also, with all the TKO power he can make a new spot for himself. He can make the Royal Rumble for 31 man, so this would be an interesting watch.
