Top five WWE stars who can help AJ Styles dethrone Cody Rhodes at Clash of the Castle 2024

AJ Styles might have a few allies that could help him dethrone Cody Rhodes at WWE Clash at the Castle.

The next WWE PLE, Clash at the Castle, is rapidly approaching and is set to go down on Saturday, June 15, at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. Among the matches scheduled in the line-up, a major match to look out for has to be the ‘I Quit match’ between Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

With Styles possibly willing to go to all lengths to claim the title with no rules in place, here are the five WWE superstars that could help him dethrone Cody Rhodes at the event:

5. Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens has been lost in the shuffle, constantly on the losing end and subjected to beatdowns at the hands of his rivals, The Bloodline. All these frustrations could lead to a massive heel turn that could see Owens make a huge impact by siding with AJ Styles and helping him beat Cody Rhodes for the title. This could be revealed as a handshake deal between the duo, with Styles promising to defend the title against Owens, should he help him get the job done.

4. Logan Paul

Logan Paul was the last opponent who fell short of dethroning Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE. Frustrated with his loss and being left out of the card for Clash at the Castle, he could align himself with AJ Styles to beatdown Cody Rhodes and give The Phenomenal One the win in his attempt to get back at The American Nightmare.

3. The Bloodline

Despite being on the far ends, The Bloodline, led by Solo Sikoa, has certainly not forgotten Cody Rhodes’ triumph over their previous leader, Roman Reigns, at WrestleMania 40. Moreover, Solo even teased about going after Cody a few weeks ago on SmackDown.

This could finally come to fruition with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline members Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa interfering on behalf of AJ Styles to get their redemption on Rhodes and cost him the title.

2. The O.C

The most expected allies for AJ Styles to interfere in his I Quit match against Cody Rhodes are his O.C. cohorts, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. With no rules for the match, the numbers game could overpower the American Nightmare and leave him beaten and battered to the point that Rhodes would have no choice but to utter the embarrassing words ‘I Quit’ and lose his title in the process.

1. Randy Orton

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton have a huge history together and are close allies in today’s landscape. However, WWE has already planted the seeds for their impending rivalry, and it could begin with helping AJ Styles lay a vicious beatdown on Cody Rhodes in one of the most shocking moments in recent memory. This would set the tone for a heated feud between Rhodes and Orton that could see AJ also be added to the mix as champion.
