Money in the Bank has been one of the most important WWE PPV since its inception.

WWE’s 2024 Money in the Bank premium live event is almost approaching, with the show set to take place on July 6 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario. Looking ahead to the event, considerable speculation will surround the fate of the two Money in the Bank ladder matches.

Last year, Damian Priest and Iyo Sky won their respective divisions WWE Money in the Bank briefcases, and both went on to successfully cash in and win world titles. Numerous names might and should win the briefcases this year, and here are the front-runners in men’s division.

Here are the top five stars who deserve to win the 2024 Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

5. LA Knight

Going into Money in the Bank 2023, LA Knight was one of the odds-on favorites to retrieve the briefcase and reign supreme as Mr Money in the Bank. However, he lost to Damian Priest in a move that enraged many WWE fans, especially given Knight’s momentum heading into the contest.

Knight is still on the same trajectory in 2024, and his popularity supports a world title triumph. His music-striking and successfully cashing in the briefcase might result in one of the greatest pops in WWE history.

4. Logan Paul

Logan Paul winning the United States Championship was a terrific way to generate heat in and of itself, but taking it a step further with the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship would be mind-blowing.

Paul’s heel work in WWE has been outstanding, and his use of the briefcase to take a championship despite not having put in the years of effort required to earn it is the epitome of a bad guy move. Carrying the briefcase, as he has done with the US Title, would keep fans’ attention on the product and pique their interest from outside of WWE.

3. Carmelo Hayes

Carmelo Hayes was promoted to SmackDown at this year’s WWE Draft, and he challenged Cody Rhodes to a match on his debut night. The former NXT Champion couldn’t defeat The American Nightmare, but it was a strong statement of purpose.

Hayes beat Randy Orton and Tama Tonga in the Money in the Bank qualifier on last week’s SmackDown to win a chance at the prized briefcase. So, he is also a much-deserved star to win the coveted briefcase but mostly it’s unlikely to happen.

2. Andrade

Andrade returned to WWE earlier this year and has been heavily scheduled ever since. He faced Grayson Waller and Kevin Owens in the Money in the Bank qualifier and won the Triple-Threat match to secure his spot in the ladder match.

The reigning WWE Speed Champion has to go after the biggest pieces of gold on SmackDown, and it may all begin with his next battle. Andrade is a major danger with his skill, and he can potentially become Mr. Money in the Bank if WWE sets him up correctly.

1. Jey Uso

Jey Uso has spent the most of his career as a tag team contender. He and Jimmy Uso were known as The Usos for more than a decade. They were very successful, having won several WWE Tag Team Championships. The outstanding performer has been known as Main Event Jey Uso throughout his time with The Bloodline, but especially since his split. In many respects, Jey is striving to become the top headline act in sports entertainment much like his cousin Roman Reigns.

While he has the moniker, Jey is hardly the “main event” and is generally only seen on weekly television. If he wins Money in the Bank, Uso may become a WWE world champion and, as a result, genuinely become a main event star, making him the guy who deserves to win the Money in the Bank ladder match.
