CM Punk and GUNTHER delivered a clinic at SummerSlam, battling for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a brutal war. From the moment they locked up, the tone was set, pure, unrelenting violence from two of wrestling’s best.

Punk tried to match GUNTHER’s strength with agility, countering wristlocks and unleashing chest kicks. But the Ring General’s chops and slams turned Punk into a ragdoll. “He’s never gonna be champion,” GUNTHER growled as he locked in the Gojira Clutch, grounding Punk in a suffocating hold.

Still, Punk refused to stay down. The Chicago native clawed back, applying a Sharpshooter of his own and firing up with stiff lariats and heel kicks. But GUNTHER’s powerbombs and violent chops repeatedly cut him down. “Is this your Best in the World?” he taunted, pummeling Punk as he knelt defiantly.

Then, a turning point. GUNTHER posed atop the announce table, title in hand, until Punk tripped him off, sending him crashing down. The champion emerged with a crimson, mask, shocked by the sight of his own blood. Punk zeroed in, landing a short-arm lariat, followed by a top-rope elbow and two back-to-back Go To Sleeps to finally pin the indomitable GUNTHER.

Overcome with emotion, Punk held the title close before standing tall. But the celebration was short-lived.

Seth Rollins appeared on crutches, his leg in a massive brace. Paul Heyman walked beside him, carrying the Money in the Bank briefcase. Rollins tossed aside the crutches, tore off the brace, it was all a setup.

Rollins blindsided Punk with briefcase shots to the face and back. Referee Jessika Carr called for the bell; the cash-in was official.

Punk, already unconscious, couldn’t respond. Rollins wasted no time, delivering a devastating Blackout and pinning Punk to become the new World Heavyweight Champion, just minutes after Punk’s own victory.

Final Result: Seth Rollins is the new World Heavyweight Champion
