Bray Wyatt passed away at the age of 36, shocking the entire wrestling industry
Bray Wyatt was one of the most popular WWE Superstars with millions of fan following across the world. He was one of the successful professional wrestlers who won the WWE Championship and Universal Championship. He is best known for his creative storytelling and terrifying gimmicks. He had his last match at the 2023 Royal Rumble and was removed from the television due to illness.
On August 24, 2023, Bray Wyatt passed away at the age of 36 due to Heart Attack after COVID19 complications. WWE paid tribute to Wyatt after his passing, hosted a special show remembering his legacy, inducted him into the legends contract and by honoring through a number of documentaries. On the first anniversary, WWE Superstars paid tribute to the late Bray Wyatt.
JoJo Offerman’s heartfelt message to Bray Wyatt
JoJo Offerman, Wyatt’s fiance shared a heartfelt message on her death anniversary saying that it was one year since she heard the smile of Wyatt. She remembered the time she spent with him and how badly she & her children miss him.
“Today is a reminder of the worst day of my life, but also a reminder to never take anything for granted. Today, like everyday, I remember you Windham, and all that you were. We miss you and we love you and life will never be the same without you. I love you, forever.”
WWE Superstars tribute to Bray Wyatt
Alexa Bliss posted a picture of herself with Bray Wyatt in the Firefly Funhouse on Instagram and wrote, “Miss you Windham 🖤”
Erick Rowan posted a Wyatt Family picture of Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper on his Instagram and wrote “I love you and miss you.”
Karrion Kross, who sees Wyatt as his idol, posted the picture of his firefly tattoo, which he got last year to pay tribute to the late Bray. He wrote how Wyatt meant to him saying, “I’m thinking of getting the moth tattooed on my shoulder, bray meant so much to me🖤⭕️”
Adam Pearce posted a picture with Bray in the Firefly Funhouse, during his initial time in TV and posted with a heart emoji.
Former WWE Stars pay tribute
Matt Hardy posted the video of WrestleMania 34, where Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy united for the first time on the grand stage and paid the emotional tribute to the late Bray.
Matt Hardy said,
“It’s been a year exactly since we lost a great man, an incredible father & one of the most creative minds ever in wrestling, Windham Rotunda. I miss you & love you, brother. Rest in Power, my compeer.”
Top Dolla who is currently working in TNA remembered Wyatt with a post of Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy confronting them inside the ring and paid tribute.
Top Dolla wrote,
“A year ago we lost an icon… #RIPBray It is such an honor to be a part of the last thing he did in the ring… #RIPBrayWyatt We miss you Windham”
