Top WWE superstars can benefit from a heel turn.
WWE landscape is divided into two types of characters: baby faces, who represent the good guys, and heels, who are the notorious villains. These personalities tend to go to greater lengths in their quest for victory and garner huge popularity among the WWE Universe.
Amidst the current roster of the company, a handful of WWE superstars could skyrocket their careers by turning to the dark side. Here are seven top names who should turn heel before the end of 2025.
7. LA Knight

LA Knight is a highly popular baby face in WWE today. However, that popularity has brought him only mid-card success, despite roaring reactions each week.
The Megastar could spice things up and show a new side, which is charismatic yet darker at the same time, to take his career to the next level.
6. Bayley
Bayley, at the peak of her heel run in the early 2020s, was untouchable in the WWE women’s division. This even transcended Bayley’s last run as Women’s Champion. She could turn to her ruthless roots once again and have another remarkable run in the company.
5. Penta
Penta has been making waves in WWE for months after his debut. The masked luchador has been a beloved baby face, yet his wrestling moves have been dominant and causing physical damage like the Mexican Destroyer. This could match well if Penta turns heel and explores a new direction in his wrestling career.
4. Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill has been presented as a baby face since arriving in WWE in 2023. However, before that, Cargill showed remarkable signs as a dominant heel in AEW, which led to her record-setting title run as TBS Champion.
She could resurrect that tenure in full force in the global juggernaut, amidst major crowds booing her, and become a top heel in the women’s division.
3. Jey Uso
Despite his meteoric rise as a popular WWE superstar, Jey Uso has been showered with major negative reactions on numerous occasions.
Moreover, many fans have also panned his World Championship reign. All the negativity could pile up on the YEET man, who could turn his back on the fans and embrace the dark side.
2. Sami Zayn
Being a baby face has brought major success to Sami Zayn, from WrestleMania main event to countless titles. However, it did not fetch him a World Championship, with Zayn falling on numerous occasions.
He could finally give up all of his principles this year and become a heel, which could be a significant change in his career at this point.
1. Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes has himself stated that his babyface run is inching toward its end. The fans have also turned their back on Rhodes on some occasions, especially witnessed at WrestleMania 41 when they booed him out of the building.
While Rhodes said that a heel turn could come in the next 1-3 years, WWE might pull the trigger early and turn Rhodes heel this year to begin his monster run as a ruthless Homelander in the business.
