WWE superstars might lose their respective championships heading into WrestleMania 41

The road to WWE’s biggest spectacle of them all, WrestleMania 41, has been delivering twists and turns in its own right. Every week, a new development is getting the fans excited for The Showcase of the Immortals, which will take place on April 19 and 20 in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

However, along with the surprising moments, WWE has been building some champions in such a way that they could drop their titles even before reaching WrestleMania. This could mean that they lose a significant spot WWE might have planned for them for The Show of Shows.

It could be a major disappointment for even those who are eyeing their first time at the biggest WWE stage. Here are four WWE titles that can change hands before WrestleMania 41.

4. WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship

Lyra Valkyria was the inaugural WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, defeating Dakota Kai in the finals of a tournament. While she has been defending her titles on numerous occasions, the fans have not shown any significant reactions to her.

With her upcoming bout against Raquel Rodriguez on the horizon, Valkyria’s lackluster title reign might be coming to an end in WWE’s bid to push Raquel further as a top star.

3. WWE World Tag Team Championships

WWE Universe recently saw the tag team titles change hands on SmackDown last week when The Street Profits dethroned DIY for the championships. On the RAW side, the same can happen with the World tag team titles, which have not been getting any traction.

The War Raiders, who are the reigning champions, might drop it soon to another team before WrestleMania 41 to create some hype around the lackluster titles.

2. WWE Women’s United States Championship

Chelsea Green has been one of the most captivating and remarkable WWE champions today. The current and first-ever Women’s United States Champion has been put through the grind of regular title defenses on SmackDown and, most recently, NXT.

The pressure of multiple title defenses can lead to Green crumbling to one of her next opponents and possibly dropping the US title to another emerging WWE superstar before WrestleMania 41.

1. WWE Intercontinental Championship

Bron Breakker has been dominant as the WWE Intercontinental Champion, having already won the title twice since his main roster call-up in 2024. However, in recent memory, there have been multiple competitors like AJ Styles, Finn Balor and Penta emerging to challenge Breakker for the title.

In doing so, he might have made a lot of enemies and it could prove to be costly for him. This could see Bron Breakker possibly lose the workhorse title before his first WrestleMania this year to a top worthy competitor.
