WWE planning to make a major change for WrestleMania 41

WWE WrestleMania is one of the biggest annual professional wrestling events in the world. WWE has hosted a total of 40 WrestleManias so far and it is the longest running event in the sports entertainment industry. WWE recently hosted WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which was a grand success, making it one of the greatest WrestleManias of all time.
WWE usually announce next year’s WrestleMania a year in advance, however there isn’t any official information about the event or the venues. Now backstage reports suggest that Nick Khan is not ready to announce the location and there will be a possible change in date.
WrestleMania 41 to move to March or May 2025
It was previously reported by PWInsider that Las Vegas is one of the potential host cities for WrestleMania 41, next year.
“The front runner had been Minneapolis but there has been some rumblings of it possibly being in Las Vegas. With Endeavor now owning WWE, the old traditions and plans are out the window for whatever they deem to be the best moves for the company.”
“Early word: WrestleMania is coming back to Las Vegas, announcement anticipated soon. This will be the first WrestleMania in Las Vegas since IX in 1993 at Caesars Palace. They had some sort of news conference in Vegas yesterday for XL, to be held in Philadelphia.”
It was recently announced that Nick Khan is not ready to announce the location of WrestleMania 41. It was also said that Nick Khan looks to host the grand event in Super Bowl venues. However as the Final Four will be clashing with WrestleMania 41 dates, the dates are a concern.
“WWE president Nick Khan wasn’t ready to announce the location of WrestleMania in 2025 just yet but he said you can assume it won’t be in an outdoor East coast stadium again and it won’t go head-to-head with the Final Four again. Las Vegas is one of the cities under consideration.”
“The outdoor East coast stadium part wasn’t surprising. Philadelphia was the last WrestleMania Nick inherited. Look for future WrestleManias to be held in Super Bowl venues. But moving away from going head to head with the Final Four is new. They’ve gone head to head for years.”
Fightful Select considering the situation, speculates that WrestleMania 41 could be moved to either March or May, which are in discussions.
