After Night 1, all eyes are now on Night 2 of WrestleMania 42!
Night 1 of WWE WrestleMania 42 concluded with Cody Rhodes retaining over Randy Orton on Saturday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The same venue on Sunday will now host Night 2 of the PLE, where six matches are scheduled.
Similar to Saturday, the first hour of Night 2 will air on ESPN2 in the U.S. Fans can then switch to ESPN Unlimited to watch the full event, while the show will be available internationally on Netflix.
Night 2 will feature six exciting matches, including four title bouts and much more. Let’s now take a look at a detailed preview, along with the match card, news, and telecast details for Sunday’s Night 2 edition of WWE WrestleMania.
WrestleMania 42 Night 2 Full Match Card
- Opener: Oba Femi vs Brock Lesnar
- Penta (c) vs Je’Von Evans vs Dragon Lee vs JD McDonagh vs Rusev vs Rey Mysterio – Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match
- Sami Zayn (c) vs Trick Williams – United States Championship
- “The Demon” Finn Balor vs Dominik Mysterio
- Jade Cargill (c) vs Rhea Ripley – WWE Women’s Championship
- Main Event: CM Punk (c) vs Roman Reigns – World Heavyweight Championship
Oba Femi vs Brock Lesnar
The highly anticipated clash between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi will open the show on Sunday. What started with Femi accepting Brock’s open challenge has turned into an all-out feud with chaos all around every time the two face off.
It is essentially a passing-of-the-torch opportunity for Femi, a chance to prove at WrestleMania that he belongs in the conversation with the very biggest names in WWE history.
Penta (c) vs Je’Von Evans vs Dragon Lee vs JD McDonagh vs Rusev vs Rey Mysterio – Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match

The six-man Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match is set to be a highlight of Night 2 and a potential show-stealer as reigning Champion Penta puts the title on the line against Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, Rusev, and Rey Mysterio.
The match will close out the first hour of the PLE on Sunday as the participants look to climb the ladder and capture the Intercontinental Championship.
Sami Zayn (c) vs Trick Williams – United States Championship

With Lil Yachty by his side, Trick Williams is looking to make his WrestleMania debut in emphatic fashion. Standing opposite him is Sami Zayn with the United States title on his shoulder. Williams has been able to best Sami in their face-offs on SmackDown and is looking to do the same in Las Vegas.
A double turn has also been reported with the fan-favorite Williams turning babyface, and Sami, who has been receiving a lot of heat from the crowd since the title win, is likely to turn heel.
“The Demon” Finn Balor vs Dominik Mysterio
Finn Balor will resurrect ‘The Demon’ persona to take on Dominik Mysterio, who ousted him from the Judgement Day. Now the months of simmering tensions will take centre stage at Allegiant Stadium, and fans are waiting to see what unfolds.
The Judgment Day is also expected to run interference during the match, and fans are waiting to see how the Demon responds.
Jade Cargill (c) vs Rhea Ripley – WWE Women’s Championship

WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill puts the title on the line against the winner of the 2026 women’s Elimination Chamber match, Rhea Ripley. With an unlikely alliance with B-Fab and Michin, Cargill looks unstoppable, but Rhea seems determined to get some payback for the multiple attacks on herself as well as her tag partner, Iyo Sky.
With both women boasting power and athleticism in abundance, this has all the ingredients of a genuine WrestleMania classic.
CM Punk (c) vs Roman Reigns – World Heavyweight Championship
The Night 2 main event is as layered and complex as any match in recent WrestleMania history. CM Punk, the World Heavyweight Champion, faces Roman Reigns, the 2026 Royal Rumble winner. The feud between the two has seen personal comments, physical confrontations, and even acknowledgment of each other’s accomplishments.
However, all that goes out the window Sunday Night in the main event as Roman Reigns looks to recapture the World title and reclaim the glory, while Punk looks to topple the OTC and remain on top of the division.
