WWE delivers staggering numbers in 2025
WWE’s first full year on Netflix has delivered staggering results, marking one of the most successful content partnerships the streaming giant has ever reported.
After moving WWE Monday Night Raw to Netflix in January 2025, the world’s largest streaming platform has now released its official one-year performance report and the numbers confirm WWE’s global impact has skyrocketed.
According to Netflix, members worldwide watched 525 million hours of WWE programming in 2025. Of that number, 340 million views came from WWE Raw alone, with Premium Live Events in international markets generating an additional 185 million views.
WWE Raw averaged over 3 million weekly viewers and ranked in the Global English TV Top 10 for 47 out of 52 weeks, a striking accomplishment for its debut year.
The year-end summary emphasizes not only viewership but also WWE’s immense social and cultural footprint across all Netflix-owned platforms.
WWE Raw dominates globally in WWE’s first year on Netflix
Netflix’s report highlights WWE Raw’s worldwide momentum. Since debuting on January 6, 2025, Raw landed in the Top 10 rankings in 34 different countries, including 51 weeks in the U.S., 49 in Bolivia, 48 in Canada, 40 in the U.K., and 38 in Mexico.
The platform also noted that WWE’s Premium Live Events charted in 42 countries, performing strongest in Canada, the U.K., Egypt, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia despite not being available in the U.S.
The first episode of Raw on Netflix was a blockbuster, featuring megastars like The Rock, The Undertaker, and John Cena, with Rhea Ripley defeating Liv Morgan to win the WWE Women’s World Championship.
In the main event, CM Punk and Seth Rollins faced each other in their long-awaited first singles bout, with Punk emerging victorious.
Fast forward a year, and the one-year anniversary show saw Punk defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker. In a dramatic main event, Punk countered Breakker’s spear with a perfectly timed knee before finishing him with a GTS.
The celebration episode also crowned new Women’s Tag Team Champions as IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley defeated The Kabuki Warriors.
WWE’s social footprint explodes across Netflix platforms
Beyond streaming numbers, WWE’s presence on Netflix-owned social channels has surged. In 2025, WWE posts generated more than 5.8 billion impressions across roughly 8,000 posts. Additionally, WWE’s dedicated Netflix social accounts grew to 6.2 million followers, producing 4.4 billion impressions.
The top-performing social moment of the year came when FC Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal reacted to a Randy Orton RKO during a live broadcast, an interaction that surpassed 50 million impressions on Facebook alone.
Netflix also touted the success of WWE: Unreal, a companion docuseries offering fans unprecedented access to WWE’s creative process. The show reached the Global Top 10 in multiple regions, with Season 2 set to premiere on January 20.
Looking ahead, Netflix has expanded the partnership further. Beginning in 2026, the platform officially became the home for WWE’s extensive library content, signaling an even greater integration between the two entertainment powerhouses.
