Matt Hardy predicts which recent WWE releases could join AEW

WWE has recently released a number of WWE talents following the TKO merger. The list includes some of the shocking names, who had worked for a long time with the company. The release shocked the whole wrestling industry and felt bad for the talents who were involved in the layoffs. 

Some of the wrestling veterans and wrestlers across various promotions reacted to the release on the social media accounts. When the career of the released wrestlers was a question mark, former WWE star and current AEW star, Matt Hardy predicted that which released WWE star could he see in AEW.

Matt Hardy Predictions

On the latest episode of The Extreme Life, Matt Hardy took Matt Cardona as an example and advised them to prove in the Indies and land in the bigger promotion. He also assesses which WWE release could land in AEW after release.

Matt Hardy says,

“Cardona is the living, breathing example of it [making a name on the indies], He's just killing it on every level, and he's willing to bust his a**, put in the work, and put in the sacrifices [to] do it yourself. And you really have to be a kind of a DIY guy to really be able to do that.

But it's out there if you want it. Especially names like Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, or Mustafa Ali. There are a lot of guys who had a lot of TV time and people will pay to see them. You go out, bust your ass, and you can do whatever. I could see Shelton Benjamin, Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali in AEW.”
