AEW Collision (April 05, 2025): Results & spoilers

The April 05 episode of AEW Collision features three tag team matches

Following the April 02 episode of AEW Dynamite which aired live from the  Peoria Civic Centre in Peoria, Illinois, USA, the promotion also pre-taped the April 05 episode of AEW Collision. The show followed in Dynamite’s footsteps and continued building towards the AEW Dynasty 2025 PPV.

The Jacksonville-based promotion will present the 2025 edition of the AEW Dynasty PPV from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This will be the second edition of Dynasty and AEW’s first PPV event in Pennsylvania.

• Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita vs Powerhouse Hobbs & Tomohiro Ishii
• Mark Briscoe vs Max Caster
• PAC vs Cash Wheeler
• Top Flight (Darius Martin & Dante Martin) vs CRU (Lio Rush & Action Andretti)
• “Speedball” Mike Bailey vs Dralistico
• Mercedes Moné & Harley Cameron vs Julia Hart & Athena

The show kicked off with an intense battle as Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita secured a victory over Powerhouse Hobbs and Tomohiro Ishii. Fletcher sealed the win for his team after hitting Ishii with two Protodrivers.

In the second match of the show, Max Caster’s open challenge series continued, however, Caster was quickly defeated by Mark Briscoe. Ahead of their AEW World Trios Title match at Dynasty, PAC defeated Cash Wheeler in singles action after an outside interference. In the final moments of the match, Claudio Castagnoli rushed to the ring but was intercepted by Cope.

The chaos escalated as Dax Harwood and Wheeler Yuta also got involved at ringside. PAC capitalized on the distraction, securing the victory with a Crucifix Pin after Cash took out Yuta with a Piledriver. After the match, FTR and Cope embraced in a show of unity.

Furthermore, Top Flight secured a victory over CRU, followed by “Speedball” Mike Bailey defeating Dralistico. After the match, Ricochet, who was on commentary, ambushed Bailey with a sneak attack.

In the main event, Athena and Julia Hart defeated the team of Mercedes Moné and Harley Cameron when Hart forced Harley to tap out with an Octopus Hold. Notably, Moné chose not to intervene and save her partner.
