AEW Dynamite returns to Houston, Texas for this Wednesday’s show.

All Elite Wrestling will take over Houston this Wednesday for the June 17, 2026, edition of AEW Dynamite. The weekly flagship show is set to emanate live from the Smart Financial Center at Sugar Land in Houston, Texas. 

Ahead of their multi-man steel cage match, AEW World Champion MJF and Mark Briscoe are announced to choose their team for the aforementioned steel cage match at the upcoming Forbidden Door 2026. The promotion has also announced that after picking the teams, the two teams will collide in a massive 12-man tag team match before the PPV.

On the other hand, in the women’s Owen Hart Cup tournament semi-finals, Mercedes Mone takes on World Wonder Ring Stardom star Hazuki. Meanwhile, before their clash in the men’s Owen Hart Cup Final at Forbidden Door, Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland will meet face-to-face.

The promotion is expected to announce more matches for the upcoming PPV on this Wednesday’s show. Forbidden Door is slated for June 28, 2026, at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The PPV will be co-produced by All Elite Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), and World Wonder Ring Stardom.
