All-Star 8-man tag: Will Ospreay, Powerhouse Hobbs, Ricochet, and Mark Davies vs Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, Lance Archer, and Brian Cage
A star-studded match was confirmed for this week of AEW Dynamite. Tony Khan announced an All-Star Eight-Man Tag Match for the event. Will Ospreay, Ricochet, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Mark Davis will take on AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, Brian Cage, and Lance Archer.
The two teams faced off in the November 13 edition of AEW Dynamite. Ospreay will fight Fletcher at AEW Full Gear, while Ricochet has been targeting Takeshita in recent weeks.
Kris Statlander vs Hikaru Shida
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite will see Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida prepared to go at it. The match was confirmed at last week’s AEW Collision when Statlander was stopped by Shida while discussing her forthcoming TBS Championship Match versus Mercedes Moné at AEW Full Gear.
Shida initially stated that she wished Statlander won and that it had been some time since someone beat Mercedes Moné’s “bony a**.” Shida then stated that if Statlander wins, she intends to be the first contender for the belt.
Statlander agreed with the notion but instead proposed a match challenge to Shida for Wednesday, which the superstar accepted.
Darby Allin vs Claudio Castagnoli
Darby Allin will compete against AEW World Trios Champion Claudio Castagnoli. On Wednesday, Allin confronted Castagnoli and the Death Riders. Castagnoli slammed Allin against a garage door, but Allin stood up and made sure that he was still standing. This match will be interesting to see.
Orange Cassidy vs Wheeler Yuta
Before challenging Jon Moxley for the AEW World championship at Full Gear, Orange Cassidy will face Wheeler Yuta, Moxley’s Death Riders stable member, in this week’s episode.
CMLL’s Hechicero, Atlantis Jr. and Mascara Dorada will be in action
During last week’s AEW Collision, it was announced that CMLL stars will return to AEW to appear on the forthcoming Dynamites. Mistico, Hechicero, Atlantis Jr. and Mascara Dorada are advertised. Mistico will appear on the November 27 edition in Chicago, while the other three will appear on the show in Reading, Pennsylvania on Wednesday. All four have been on AEW TV before.
Big Boom! A.J. Live!
Big Boom A.J. will feature on this Wednesday’s Full Gear go-home episode of AEW Dynamite. The viral social media sensation renowned for hanging out with Big Justice and The Rizzler and eating double-chunk chocolate cookies is gearing up for his comeback to the ring this Saturday against QT Marshall on the pay-per-view pre-show.
