This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite will serve as the go-home show for Forbidden Door!

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite is set to serve as the go-home show for the 2025 edition of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025. The show will feature segments leading up to the shpw and stars will meet for the final time ahead of their clash in London this Sunday.

The August 20 episode of AEW Dynamite will air live from the OVO Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland and will deliver drama, hard-hitting action, and major developments ahead of the PPV.

At All In Texas, Jon Moxley and the Death Riders tried to take Will Ospreay out of action for good and before the Lights Out Steel Cage match at Forbidden Door involving the two, they’ll come face-to-face this Wednesday.

A Trios match involving Moxley is also announced for the show, Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) will take on Hiroshi Tanahashi and the team of Jetspeed (Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey) in a trios match.

AEW World Champion ‘Hangman’ Adam Page is set to address the fans on this week’s show following the vicious attack by MJF in the parking lot, while FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) will battle Brodido (Bandido & Brody King) will battle in the final of the World Tag Team eliminator tournament final.

Additionally, ROH Women’s World Champion Athena will team up with AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone to battle the team of AEW Women’s World Champion ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm and Alex Windsor in a tag team clash.
