AEW World Champion MJF to appear

AEW Dynamite rolls into the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado, on Wednesday, February 25, with major implications for AEW Revolution firmly in focus. As the company returns to the Mile High City, all eyes are on the long-brewing collision between MJF and Hangman Adam Page.

Last week’s confrontation raised the stakes dramatically, with two potential stipulations floated for their Revolution showdown. The intensity of the exchange made the match feel inevitable, yet MJF insisted he needed one week to decide. This Wednesday, clarity is expected and possibly controversy.

Dynamite airs live at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT on TBS and HBO Max in the United States and streams internationally on AEW Plus via FITE. With Revolution around the corner, this episode is positioned as a turning point rather than a placeholder.

The verbal showdown between Hangman Page and MJF was more than hype; it was psychological warfare. Page offered his now-infamous promise that if he loses, he will never challenge for the AEW World Championship again.

MJF, ever the manipulator, left the door open for twists. He said he needed a week. That pause has fueled speculation: Will he accept a Texas Death Match? Will he counter with “One Final Shot”? Or will he add conditions designed to trap Page further?

Their rivalry has always been layered. Since day one, Page and MJF have mirrored each other, shaped by fan response and divergent choices. Whether this becomes another signature contract-segment moment or a shocking swerve, the Revolution main event picture should finally be confirmed in Denver.

Jon Moxley returns to action in a stylistic clash against El Clon. Known for his chaotic brawling, Moxley faces a corrupted, unpredictable aerial offense that could force him outside his comfort zone.

Orange Cassidy squares off with Gabe Kidd, who recently broke away from the Death Riders. Kidd is hunting a statement victory to cement himself in AEW’s upper tier. With Darby Allin and Clark Connors orbiting the situation, outside involvement would not be surprising.

Brody King, meanwhile, issued an open challenge last week after a backstage segment alongside Bandido. Under politically charged chants from the crowd, King made it clear he wants the biggest, the baddest competition available.

He gets exactly that in Mark “Dunkzilla” Davis. In a collision of raw power, Davis represents one of King’s most physically imposing opponents to date. After coming close to the AEW World Championship scene earlier this year, King’s follow-up must match that urgency.
