Tony Khan has slightly updated his Mount Rushmore of wrestling
In a recent interview with Brice Butler of Sports Illustrated, AEW President Tony Khan revealed his Mount Rushmore of Wrestling, which included three familiar names from his previous list, with one notable change.
It is no secret that Khan is a massive fan of pro wrestling veteran Sting and has complimented the legend repeatedly and when he was asked to reveal his list of Mount Rushmore of wrestling he named Sting who retired last year with an undefeated record in AEW.
Apart from Sting, the list included 16-time WWE World Champion Ric Flair, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart. This has a few tweaks as mentioned above, Khan’s previous Mount Rushmore of wrestlers list included Ricky Steamboat, Steve Austin, Ric Flair and Bret Hart.
“I would say the aforementioned undefeated AEW World [Tag Team] Champion, retired last year at Revolution, Sting, Ric Flair…Steve Austin…and Bret Hart.” Khan said.
