Recent reports suggest AEW Rampage ratings have dipped below 200,000

All Elite Wrestling (AEW)’s Friday Night show, Rampage premiered for the first time on August 13, 2021. The show airs every Friday at 11 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on TNT in the United States.

AEW has three different shows that air weekly similar to the WWE. The promotion’s weekly programming consists of Dynamite which airs on Wednesdays, Rampage which airs on Fridays, and Collision which airs on Saturdays with some exceptions.

The promotion focuses on younger wrestlers in the company through its Friday Night shows. It is the second professional wrestling program to air on TNT since the WCW.

In recent times the Friday Night Show has been struggling to deliver good shows which is reflected in its rating as the rating and viewership have been on a sharp decline.

As per reports from Programming Insider, the 11/01 show on TNT managed to draw a mere 172,000 viewers. This is down big from its last episode which already had concerning numbers.

The October 25 show of AEW Rampage recorded a total of 241,000 viewers, the recent 11/01 show saw a drop of 28.6 percent from the previous week. The numbers look even more devastating when compared to its rival WWE as Smackdown’s viewership was at 1.43M with a rating of 0.42.

AEW Rampage records its worst viewership to date

The 11/01 show of AEW Rampage which recorded less than 200,000 viewers is officially the lowest viewership in the promotion’s history to Date.

The show earned a 0.05 rating in the 18-49 (age group) demographic which is a decline from the 0.09 rating from the previous Friday.

This marks the smallest audience in the show’s history and is a record-lowest 18-49 rating for the show. It is surpassed only by the 09/6 episode of Collision, which aired opposite the final WWE SmackDown on Fox.

The 11/01 show had lighter competition than in recent weeks, the competition for the show came from the NBA game between the Orlando Magic and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The NBA game drew a total of 912K viewers and a 0.30 rating on ESPN.
