AEW Revolution featured multiple big returns.

AEW kicked off the 2026 PPV schedule with AEW Revolution, which emanated from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. The 2026 edition continued its streak as the venue hosted the event for a second straight year.

The zero hour of the show featured three matches, where Boom & Doom (“Big Boom!” A.J. & Q. T. Marshall) defeated The Infantry (Capt. Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo), while Willow Nightingale defeated Lena Kross to retain the AEW TBS title.

Additionally, “Jungle” Jack Perry won the 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal for the AEW National title by last eliminating Ricochet.

Security prevented a physical altercation between Ronda Rousey & Toni Storm

In the first match of the PPV, FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) defeated The Young Bucks (Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson) to retain the AEW World Tag Team titles. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage made their return after the match to attack FTR.

‘Timeless’ Toni Storm battled Marina Shafir while everyone was banned from the ringside. Toni managed to pick up the win but was confronted by Marina’s friend and former WWE and UFC Champion Ronda Rousey, who had a fierce face-off with Toni before security and officials swarmed in to separate the two. Shafir capitalized on the chaos, taking out Storm.

Elsewhere on the card, Jon Moxley defeated Konosuke Takeshita by technical submission to retain the AEW Continental title in the no time limit match. Will Ospreay made his return after the match, attacking Moxley and his Death Riders crew, who were behind his neck injury back in 2025.

The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) defeated The Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) to capture the AEW Women’s World Tag Team titles. On the other hand, Swerve Strickland pinned Brody King, while Thekla defeated Kris Statlander 2-1 to retain the AEW Women’s World title in a two out of three falls match.

Místico and JetSpeed (“The Jet” Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey) defeated The Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) in a trios match to win the AEW World Trios Championship. Furthermore, Andrade El Ídolo pinned Bandido to win in the singles clash.

Additionally, Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy & Roderick Strong defeated The Dogs (David Finlay, Gabe Kidd & Clark Connors) in a Tornado trios match. In the main event of the show, MJF defeated ‘Hangman’ Adam Page in a Last Chance Texas Deathmatch to retain the AEW World title; as a result of the stipulation, Page can never challenge for the title again.
