The 2025 edition of Full Gear will emanate from Newark.
All Elite Wrestling is set to close out a very successful 2025 in style with two major PPVs. The promotion is currently gearing up for the 2025 edition of AEW Full Gear. The seventh annual PPV is set to take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The PPV is regarded as one of AEW’s “Big Five” events, alongside Revolution, Double or Nothing, All In, and All Out, the promotion’s five premier annual shows.
The upcoming edition will mark the second straight year that Full Gear takes place at the venue, following 2024, and the third time overall, including 2022. Additionally, this will be the first AEW pay-per-view to be presented in partnership with DC Comics.
While the build towards the PPV is currently picking up steam, the promotion has started announcing matches for the show. Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall are set to battle RPG Vice (Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta) in a tag team match.
On the other hand, AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander will defend the title against AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone. AEW World Champion Adam Page is also set for a title defense; however, his opponent has not yet been decided.
Page will face the winner from the October 29 Fright Night Dynamite four-way match featuring Bobby Lashley, Ricochet, Hook, and Samoa Joe.
AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) are set for a title defense, and similar to Page, their opponents will be decided on the October 29 episode.
Brodido will take on the victors of the Fright Night Dynamite four-way tag team match, which includes The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey), FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood), and Jurassic Express (“Jungle” Jack Perry and Luchasaurus).
Furthermore, Kenny Omega, along with Jurassic Express (“Jungle” Jack Perry and Luchasaurus), will take on The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) and Josh Alexander in a Trios match. The winners of the match will receive a $1,000,000 cash prize.
A No Disqualification match for the AEW TNT Championship is also announced for the show, where the reigning Champion, Kyle Fletcher, will battle Mark Briscoe. If Briscoe loses the match, he will be forced to join The Don Callis Family.
Additionally, a Casino Gauntlet match for the inaugural AEW National Championship is also on the card for the PPV. The match will feature Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Ricochet, and other contestants that are not been revealed yet.
