New details have emerged regarding PAC’s death.

AEW star PAC’s death shocked the wrestling world. The Bastard had delivered a captivating in-ring performance against Andrade for the National Championship at AEW All Out 2026. A day later, he was pronounced dead.
PAC was found unresponsive in a car outside a CAVA in Des Plaines, Illinois, following which a 911 call was made. However, it was too late, and he was declared dead. Now, new details have emerged, giving more insight into the cause of his death.
Major insight into the cause leading to PAC’s death
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer offered major insight into PAC’s death. According to him, a source who is familiar with the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office gave them new information. When the officials ordered further studies after an autopsy was conducted, it usually meant that the death was not due to common natural causes like a heart attack, stroke, or aneurysm.
On the other hand, a recent 911 call recording revealed the events leading up to PAC’s death. The caller who informed the paramedics said that a man was passed out in a car next to theirs, initially mistaking PAC for a woman at first. They also said they knocked on the window for five minutes, but there was no response, and his eyes were wide open.
When the 911 paramedics arrived at the scene, they found a saliva stain on his shirt. During their investigation, they also found two suitcases and a backup with medication, and GPS coordinates set to a nearby airport on PAC’s phone.
PAC’s death was a major shocker for his fans and family, especially after he looked in top physical shape just one night before. After his unfortunate passing, many superstars from AEW, WWE, and other promotions paid homage to the former Neville. As the exact cause of his death is still unknown, we will have to wait for more details to emerge.
