India boxers finished their campaign by total of five medals at the Continental meet.

Indian boxers Lovlina Borgohain and Parveen Hooda both experienced defeat in their respective encounter and settled for silver and bronze medals respectively at the Hangzhou Asian Games 2023. Lovlina competed against Li Qian from China in the final of the women's 75kg. The match commenced with the Assamese adopting a defensive strategy, while her Chinese opponent appeared a bit aggressive.

The Chinese boxer prevailed in the first two rounds, securing scores of 3-2 and 5-0 respectively with dominant performances. After initially falling behind in the first two rounds, Lovlina faced the pressure of turning the game in her favor. The Indian boxer attempted to land several punches on Li Qian, but the latter successfully defended against them without much difficulty.

Finally, Li Qian emerged as the victor with a unanimous 5-0 decision rendered by the judges, securing the coveted gold medal, while Lovlina Borgohain settled for the silver medal. In the women's 57kg category, Parveen Hooda from India also faced defeat against Lin Yu Ting, the two-time World Champion boxer from Chinese Taipei and settled for a bronze medal.

Lin Yu Ting initiated the match with an assertive strategy right from the outset, earning a perfect score of 10 points from all five judges. In contrast, Parveen only managed to secure 9 points from each judge.

In the following round, Parveen aimed to seize opportunities, yet the outcome persisted unchanged, much like the initial round. However, a slight alteration occurred as Parveen was awarded a score of 10 by one of the judges. Lin Yu Ting maintained her lead, while Parveen needed to deliver an extraordinary performance in the third round in order to secure a victory.

Although Parveen showed improvement in the third round compared to the first two rounds, she ultimately suffered a defeat of 5-0 against her opponent and will have to return with a bronze medal to her name. Before this, Indian boxers Nikhat Zareen, Preeti Pawar, and Narender Berwal had also lost their respective bouts in the semifinals settled for bronze.
