Over 120 boxers from 17 different countries will compete at the World Boxing Cup Finals 2025.
The World Boxing Cup Finals 2025 is scheduled to take place from November 16 to 20 at the Shaheed Vijay Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida.
The upcoming edition of the competition will witness over 120 boxers from 17 countries, competing across 10 weight divisions (10 men and 10 women), with a maximum of 8 boxers in each category.
Hosts India will field a 20-member contingent for the World Boxing Cup Finals 2025, with 10 players each in the men’s and women’s divisions.
Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist Lovlina Borgohain decided to opt out of the tournament due to surgery. Saweety Boora will replace the Olympian in the women’s 75kg category.
Meanwhile, Lakshya Chahar, who was named in the men’s 80kg category, had to pull out of the tournament after he suffered an injury on his foot during a training session at NIS Patiala. Ankush will replace Lakshya in the Indian contingent.

The quarter-final bouts will take place on Sunday (November 16), Monday (November 17), and Tuesday (November 18). The semi-final matches will be played on November 18 and 19, while all gold medal matches are scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 20.
