Lord of the Mysteries donghua first two episodes review

On June 21, 2025, the first two episodes of Lord of the Mysteries donghua were recently screened offline in China and the reception was great.

For now, there is no opening and ending song shown for the episodes. Many of the scenes had already appeared in the previous promotional videos, trailers and previews.

This donghua has a feel of “one shot + full animation.” The pacing is made to be fast, but the main thing to note here is that the plot is complete and understandable even for newcomers.

Has a very good immersion and a short interlude every 15 minutes. Each episode of this dongua is 30 minutes long.

Cuttlefish, who is the author of the web novel Lord of the Mysteries, has personally guided the scriptwriting and provided various inputs for the final episode.

Season 2 (Faceless Man) is already in production, tentatively split into two parts. Fans can expect more than 20 episodes from it.

Audrey will eventually get a new character design and her own story arc.
