Recent chapter recap

While serving Jaku’un, Yuuki tells him that she almost always wears her clothes for battle and experiments, but likes to be naked for events like this. She tells Yuuki he’s lucky and reveals the horrible truth that the Thunder Gods’ other human captives are being dissected.

Later, once Jaku’un falls asleep, Yuuki learns that the Gods’ kindness is all because of Kuusetsu and the others inside him. Fearing what would happen to him and Shushu if the Gods were restored, he runs off without Jaku’un noticing.

Outside the base, Yuuki meets Shushu at the gate. Shushu uses Paradigm Shift to grow bigger and try to open the gate, but it won’t budge. Yuuki tries to transform into his Slave form by thinking of Kyouka and all the events they’ve shared.

It works and Yuuki transforms completely into his Slave form. Yuuki then has Shushu ride on top of him and changes him into his Boulder Melter form. With his great strength, he can open the gate.

On the other side of the gate, Yuuki and Shushu run through an open area, which they realize is not Mato, but the space between the Thunder Gods’ base and Mato, and they still can’t contact the Anti-Demon Corps.. As they run, they are attacked by a swarm of Shuuki, which Shushu repels with her talismans. As a second wave approaches, Yuuki stops and fights them and knocks them all out with a punch.Jaku’un chases after them on a flying Shuuki, which she sent ahead knowing it would get to them faster. Jaku’un runs to catch up with Yuuki and Shushu and cackles maniacally that she will capture and torture them.
