What happened in previous chapter?
In the previous chapter, we see the conversation between Vikir and Canecorso. Vikir learned more about this place and the feats that Canecorso has achieved in his life.
He was the death knight who knew up to 9th fang techniques. He also knows how to achieve the 10th technique.
Canecorso believes that Vikir is the fated one who can achieve the 10th technique. Vikir needs to die and come back to life and defeat Canercorso in order to achieve that.
Vikir wasn’t interested in that and all he wanted to do was to leave the tower. However, he isn’t powerful and can’t escape from Canercorso.
Canercorso defeated him by using the 9th fang technique. The technique sends Vikir to a blood pool space-like place.
