Archery World Cup 2024 Stage 3, Antalya: Live streaming, TV channel, where and how to watch

The event will be the final chance for recurve archers and teams to secure quota places for Paris Olympics.

World No. #1 Deepika Kumari and Asian Games champion Jyothi Surekha Vennam will lead India’s charge at the Archery World Cup 2024 Stage 3 in the Turkish City of Antalya. The event, which will be held between June 18 and 23, will feature 12 Indians archers.

The Indian team will be heading into the event high on confidence after finishing as the top team at the first stage in Shanghai courtesy of winning a total of eight medals. The tally included five gold medals, two silver and one bronze.

The Indian Archery team have been flying high in the last year or so, having won a whopping nine medals at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, and then the men’s team went on to shock Olympic champion South Korea to clinch a historic gold at the World Cup in Shanghai in April.

Deepika Kumari aiming for quota place

Three-time Olympian Deepika Kumari, who won a silver medal in the women’s recurve event in Shanghai, after losing out to Korea Republic’s Lim Sihyeon in the title-decider, will be aiming to secure a quota place for the Paris Olympics. The event in Antalya will be the final competition for the recurve archers before the qualifying window ends. Meanwhile, both the Indian teams are favourably placed in the world rankings list for team quotas.

The Archery World Cup is held in three stages starting from April and will continue until October, in three different countries. The three stages are followed by the final stage, where the archers face each other in the Archery World Cup Finals.

The winners of the individual events in each World Cup stage will automatically qualify for the Archery World Cup final in Mexico, while the other spots will be based on World Cup rankings, which is based on the points collected over the three preliminary stages.
