Pro Panja League season 2 smashes records with highest viewership

Clashes between Jaipur, Sher-e-Ludhiana, Rohtak, and Mumbai Muscle drove record viewership, reaching 150 million social media views.

The Pro Panja League Season 2 recorded its most impactful tournament viewership with a successful telecast reaching 250 million households this year, compared to 185 million households last season.

The event also secured the highest social media viewership of 150 million plus, garnering record live content viewership on social media platforms, including the Pro Panja League’s official Instagram page.

The record-breaking viewership began on Day 5 of the Pro Panja League event, where the tournament achieved standout traction, driven by the Jaipur vs Sher-e-Ludhiana clash and the Rohtak vs Mumbai Muscle clash.

The most dominant domestic markets were North India (Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, J&K & Chandigarh) with 20% share, while 24% from North East states & 16% from Maharashtra & Goa, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai led metropolitan traction, despite the event being staged in Gwalior.

This season featured marquee arm-wrestling bouts across men’s, women’s, and para categories. In August alone, the league drew over 100 million views on Instagram and more than 150 million across social media.

This rise highlighted the sport’s rising popularity, strengthening fan loyalty and firmly positioning arm-wrestling as a mainstream sport.

This success has attracted new audiences, increased fan loyalty, and highlighted some of the strongest arm wrestlers in the sport. This widespread popularity has amplified fan loyalty and cemented arm-wrestling as a mainstream sport.

Parvinn Dabass, Co-founder of the Pro Panja League, reflected on the landmark achievement, “This unprecedented success, reaching 250 million households across platforms, is definitive proof that arm-wrestling has entered the mainstream.
