Iker Casillas hospitalized following reported heart attack
Support from all over the world has poured in for the legendary former Real Madrid shot-stopper.
In news that has shocked the football world, FC Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas has reportedly suffered a minor heart-attack back in Portugal. The Spaniard was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where his condition is believed to have stabilised.
Earlier in the day, Casillas had complained of feeling unwell after a training session, suggests Marca. Furthermore, it is also believed that the 37 year-old had to undergo a minor surgery at the CUF Hospital in Porto.
Having spent 16 years in Spain, the former Real Madrid legend is currently plying his trade with the Portuguese defending champions since 2015. His legacy in the football world is admired by most, after all he has won everything- La Liga, Champions League multiple times, along with the captaining the Spain national team which won both the FIFA World Cup and the European Championship.

Moreover, he had recently signed a new contract with the Dragons until 2020 and also has an option of extending one more year to it. The club is hopeful that he has a speedy recovery although there are rumours that the incident may have an impact on his footballing career.
