FPL Guru: How your team should look like in Gameweek 13
Among the midfielders Eden Hazard leads the pack with 82 points.
Manchester City overpowered their neighbours Manchester United in a high octane fixture, in the Etihad Stadium. The Cityzens won 3-1 thanks to goals from David Silva, Sergio Aguero, and Ilkay Gundogan. Elsewhere, Arsenal and Chelsea were forced to settle for one point at home against Wolves and Everton respectively. Liverpool managed to pass the Fulham test while Tottenham managed to get past Crystal Palace in a tightly contested affair, thanks to a Juan Foyth's goal.
Gameweek 12 Review
The gameweek turned out to be disappointing for majority of the players. Captain Andrew Robertson’s performance against Fulham was the saving grace. The Liverpool full-back had 24 points. Sergio Aguero managed seven points thanks to his spectacular goal against Manchester United while Gerard Deulofeu grabbed an assist and finished with four points. Marcos Alonso also got a clean sheet in Chelsea’s stalemate against Everton and ended the week with eight points. The remaining eleven players only managed 14 points. However, the team finished above average due to a few strong performances.
Gameweek 13 Transfers
Aleksandar Mitrovic’s current lack of production is a bit of concern. The Fulham striker is yet to score a goal in six league matches and can be replaced with Raul Jimenez. The Wolverhampton striker is available for cheap and is also in good form.
James Maddison is also out for a few matches with injury and could be replaced. Ryan Fraser seems like the best candidate to slot in his place. The Scot is in fine form for both his club and country. Other options include Roberto Pereyra and Ross Barkley. However, Barkley is not an assured starter. Both Fraser and Pereyra have difficult fixtures coming this week. As a result it would be ideal to wait before transferring the players.
