I gave everything for Juventus, decision to leave was not mine- Gonzalo Higuain
The Argentine international has urged that there are no hard feelings.
Gonzalo Higuain, the €90m striker which Juventus bought in July 2016, has stated that the same club kicked him out to make way for Cristiano Ronaldo. Higuain is currently on a loan deal to AC Milan with an option to buy.
In the two seasons with the Old Lady, he scored over 40 Serie A goals but his transfer failed to be the incentive in UEFA Champions League which Juventus had hoped for. They were the runner ups in Higuain's first season with the club and were knocked out at the quarter-final stage last season, both by Cristiano Ronaldo's former club Real Madrid.
Ronaldo, this summer, shipped boats to Juventus which in a way jeopardized the position of Higuain on the field. As reported, it never was Higuain's intention to leave, though he insists there are no hard feelings from his end.
"No, mine is a feeling of affection because they treated me very well; team-mates and supporters have given me huge affection," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"But I did not ask to leave. Basically, everyone says it, they kicked me out. At Milan I immediately had a great love and so they convinced me. Maybe I knew something had broken, and then they took Ronaldo. The decision to leave was not mine," he said while expressing his emotions.
"I gave everything for Juventus, I won several titles. After Cristiano arrived, the club wanted to make a qualitative leap and they told me that I could not stay and that they were trying to find a solution. The best solution was Milan," told Higuain as he is enjoying his life in Milan now.

Talking on the brink of his first derby with Inter, he admired the coach Gennaro Gattuso. "I'm only sorry for the ranking [10th in Serie A] because we deserve to be higher," he said.

As of now, Higuain has six goals and an assist over seven appearances for Rossoneri in Serie A and UEFA Europa League. He has shown brighter colours of his own self under the new manager and his overall third Italian club in Serie A.
