He, later on, went on to sign for Anderlecht and spent a year at the club in the 2014-15 season and went on to play the Copa del Agatha for them. He scored two goals as Anderlecht finished as runners-up in the tournament.
Bimal is also the youngest player to have represented the Nepal national team, having debuted at the age of 14 for their senior team in 2012 during a match against Bangladesh. He recently had been playing at the top level for Nepal's Thee Star Club and has been given a lot of responsibility in being named as Norde's replacement.
This might come as a surprise for some Bagan fans, who expected experienced midfielder Penn Orji to be Norde's replacement. But, it is understood that Orji had problems obtaining his Indian visa and the move fell through.
Bimal will be arriving to the city tomorrow and will take part in training from January 29th. He could be in contention for selection in the Mariners game against Shillong Lajong next week.
