Recently, Minerva Punjab decided not to travel to Srinagar for their away match against Real Kashmir on Monday citing security issues. They requested the AIFF to change the venue or postpone the match in the first place but it was declined. Their next demand was a written assurance from either the Indian Armed Forces or the Government of India. They failed to get that as well and hence didn't turn up for their match in Srinagar on Monday.
