Many players in the coaching camp have been scouted from the Hero Junior Girls National Football Championship 2019-20.
With India hosting the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in 2020, a list of 35 probables are currently sweating it out at a coaching camp on Goa under the watchful eyes of Coach Alex Ambrose.
The 35 have been scouted from the Hero Junior Girls National Football Championship 2019-20, and also from State trials which are being conducted all over.
Alex, a former India International, had been stressing on the technicalities, and tactics of the game in his training sessions. “This is not a sprint but a marathon,” said Alex who led the Indian U-19s to a 1-0 win over Thailand in the AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers in 2018.
