Playing with Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made me a better player- Romelu Lukaku
The former Manchester United striker scored 28 goals for the Red Devils.
Romelu Lukaku revealed that playing alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United changed him drastically to a better player.
The Belgian forward shared the same agent as Ibrahimovic, Mino Raiola before Lukaku decided to join Jay Z's Roc Nation last year.
Ibrahimovic after joining the Red Devils in 2016 summer quickly adjusted to life in England being United talisman. However the Swedish forward succumbed to a knee ligament damage against Anderlecht in Europa Cup quarter-finals at the Old Trafford.
Lukaku rarely shared the pitch with Ibrahimovic as the former PSG man was sidelined for months and returned only in November and left the red Devils fo LA Galaxy in March the following year.
But Lukaku believes that the veteran striker had a huge impression on him nonetheless, as he was not willing to leave his spot in the team without a proper fight.
Ibrahimovic bagged 28 goals in that season across all competitions guiding Manchester United to win the Community Shield and League Cup. However, the Swede struggled for form after his injury as Lukaku had already taken over the responsibilities of the main no.9 in the squad.

"Everything I learned from Zlatan was great, from his stories that he told me when he was at Inter, AC Milan, Barcelona and even Ajax, to being on the field working with him, seeing how competitive he was," Lukaku told United's official website.
"I remember one training session - because we were both strikers, we were never on the same team - there was a 50/50 challenge. He went full-on against me!
"That is when I knew this guy wants to compete and this guy wants to fight for his spot. That is why he changed me. It was an eye-opener. The guy had to fight to be in the position he is in.

Romelu Lukaku has been a key figure in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side this season, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic is enjoying his last few days in the MLS with LA Galaxy.
