Just pay the man what he wants- Spurs fans on Christian Eriksen's contract talks

Talks over the renewal of the midfielder's current deal which expires in two season's time have stalled.
Tottenham Hotspur have been in the news over their sloppiness in this transfer window for the lack of new players in the squad. However, in the meantime, the club have extended the contracts of several players, but it seems Christian Eriksen is not on the same page with the administration.
Spurs fans have called for the club to meet Eriksen's wage demands amid reports that negotiations have hit a stalemate, after a rigorous period of five months.
As per Football London, Barcelona and Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for the midfielder over the summer, while Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain who are in a hunt to strengthen their squad a bit further, were another club tipped to make a bid for the 26-year-old.
Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Mauricio Pochettino have signed new deals with the club over the past few months and Spurs wans another star to ensure his stay.
However, the talks have come to a stalemate and no agreement is in sight despite conversations over a new deal having taken place for the past six months.

It is being reported that Eriksen wants to be paid on par with his teammates Kane and captain Hugo Lloris. The danger for Spurs in contract talks dragging on is that Eriksen's value will start to decrease.
Spurs fans are certainly concerned about the news regarding the midfielder's contract and have called for the club to pay the player exactly what he wants.
Here's what the fans have had to say on Twitter.

Alexis Sanchez ran his contract down at Arsenal 12 months ago and the Gunners chose to swap him for Manchester United's Henrikh Mkhitaryan in January, given the real possibility of losing him on a free transfer. This is a scenario that could repeat itself in Eriksen's situation, should the Dane fail to agree new terms.
