India U-15 set to defend SAFF title in Nepal

The tournament begins in the neighbouring country on Thursday.
The India U-15 men's team will be up against five other nations at the U-15 SAFF Championships, which will take place from October 25, 2018 to November 3, 2018 at the ANFA Complex in Kathmandu, Nepal.
In the group stages, the Indians have been drawn against Pakistan and Bhutan in Group B, and will face off against them on October 25 and October 29 respectively. The semifinals will take place subsequently on November 1, with the last matchday consisting of the final and the third-place playoff scheduled for November 3.
A total of 25 boys have been selected as part of the Indian team. Leading them will be head coach Shuvendu Panda, who was in optimistic mood ahead of the competition.
He said, "The team has been selected with a long-term vision in mind and keeping in mind the requirements of all senior age category teams. The tournament is another opportunity for the boys to get international exposure. As per our performance in the last international exposure tour in China, we hope to go with positive thoughts always."
